Gran Canaria

  I joined Simon on his tour of the island today! From the moment you are picked up from your hotel, Simon shares his knowledge of the island. His knowledge and... read more adaptability to language barriers was no trouble to him. Switching from one language to the other. Each time if he shared information in one language and went off script, he would translate so you knew what the conversation was about. We went to some amazing locations where photographs don’t do the view justice. Totally breath taking. We then tried the Canaria coffee in a little village. Before moving on to some tapas and a drink. Then for some rum tasting! Then a walk around the old town of Las Palmas. I have been to Gran Canaria many times and this is the first time taking a trip like this. If you have any doubts, book it! You really won’t be disappointed. Simon was an awesome guide and what he doesn’t know, really isn’t worth knowing! Thank you for an amazing day Simon!

The trip was well organised and very insightful. We covered so much of the island with regular stops for refreshment and the opportunity to visit villages and see places of natural interest. The views were spectacular. Simon is relaxed, personable and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him and our fellow travellers. Would highly recommend.
