Skydiving in Gran Canaria – Tandem Jump with an Instructor

Make your dream of skydiving come true and see Gran Canaria from a completely different perspective! A tandem skydive is the fastest and safest way to experience the thrill of real skydiving — with no previous experience required.

During the jump, you are securely attached to an experienced instructor who takes care of the entire activity: from preparation and the flight, to the aircraft exit, freefall, parachute flight and landing.

What does a tandem skydive look like?

The meeting point is in Playa del Inglés, at the organiser’s office. On arrival, participants complete the necessary forms, receive their harness and take part in a short briefing of around 5 minutes.

The instructor explains the correct body position for exiting the aircraft, freefall and landing.

After the briefing, participants are transferred to El Berriel Aerodrome, where the aircraft takes off. The jumps are made from an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet, which is around 3,000 metres.

After leaving the aircraft, you will experience around 30–40 seconds of freefall, followed by a peaceful parachute flight lasting around 5–7 minutes. During this time, you can enjoy spectacular views of the south of Gran Canaria, the Atlantic Ocean and the Maspalomas area.

Landing takes place in the Maspalomas Dunes / Playa del Inglés area.

Price

Tandem skydive: 299 € per person

Photo and video packages can be purchased on site as an optional extra:

• Photos or video from the instructor’s camera: 99 €
• Video + photos package: 149 €
• Weight surcharge for participants from 90 kg to 100 kg: 50 € — mandatory

Digital materials are usually sent by email on the same day. The video is around 3–5 minutes long and includes the preparation, aircraft flight, exit, freefall, parachute flight, landing and a short interview after the jump.

The photo package usually includes between 50 and 100 high-quality photos.

What is included in the price?

The price of the tandem skydive includes:

• professional parachute and harness,
• skydiving goggles,
• short pre-jump briefing,
• assistance of an experienced instructor,
• jump from an altitude of approximately 3,000 metres,
• parachute flight with views of Gran Canaria.

Photos and videos are not included in the basic price and can be purchased separately.

Duration

The whole activity usually takes around 90 minutes from registration to completion.

However, we recommend not planning another activity immediately after your skydive. Skydiving depends on weather conditions, air traffic and safety requirements. If necessary, the activity time may be changed.

Age requirements

The minimum recommended age is around 9 years.

Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must sign the consent form for participation in the activity.

There is no strict upper age limit. However, for participants over 60 years old, the organiser will take into account general health, weight and physical condition. For safety reasons, the organiser may refuse participation.

Weight limit

Participants weighing over 90 kg are assessed individually before the jump is confirmed.

The maximum participant weight is 100 kg. However, the final decision always depends on the tandem instructor’s assessment. A weight surcharge applies to participants weighing between 90 kg and 100 kg.

Jump times

Jumps take place depending on availability and weather conditions.

Standard check-in times:

• Winter season: from around 7:30 to 16:30
• Summer season: from around 7:30 to 16:30, with later afternoon times possible when conditions allow

The time given during booking is the check-in time, not the exact aircraft jump time.

Important information before booking

To make a booking, we need the following details:

• participant’s full name,
• phone number,
• email address,
• age,
• weight,
• information about any health conditions that may affect participation in the activity.

Participants should be in good general health. In case of illness, back problems, heart conditions, respiratory issues, recent surgery or any other health concerns, please inform us before making a booking.

Cancellation and date changes

A booking can be changed no later than 48 hours before the confirmed date and time of the activity, up to a maximum of 3 days, and only subject to availability.

If the jump cannot take place due to weather conditions or other factors beyond the client’s control, a new date can be arranged.

If the client cannot reschedule the jump because they are leaving Gran Canaria, the paid amount will be refunded.

In case of no-show at the agreed time, the deposit is non-refundable.
