How to get to Poema del Mar Gran Canaria?
Poema del Mar does not offer transportation, but there are several options for getting there by yourself. The first and easiest one is to rent a car. From Gran Canaria airport, Poema del Mar is approximately 26 km away and the estimated journey time is approximately 25 minutes. From Maspalomas the distance is approximately 57 km and the journey time is approximately 40 minutes. At the Avenida Aviación roundabout, take the GC-1 exit towards Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. And then you follow the road signs.
The city bus lines that pass near the Poema del Mar aquarium are lines 12, 21, 45, 47 and 60. From the south of the island, i.e. Maspalomas, take the city bus number 30, which goes to Las Palmas (Santa Catalina stop) . Then a 15-minute walk (about 1km) and you are now at the Poema del Mar Gran Canaria aquarium.

Poema del Mar Aquarium is open daily and we invite all visitors from Monday to Sunday, 09:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m. The number of places is limited, so book your tickets in advance. An adult ticket costs 25 euros, a ticket for children from 4 to 11 years old costs 17, 50 euros, children under 4 enter for free.

AQUARIUM POEMA DEL MAR
The entire aquarium is divided into three parts: jungle, coral reef – beach and deep ocean.
The jungle is the part where you walk along the viaduct, watching the pools and lakes where exotic species of animals live. We can observe scorpions, crocodiles and dangerous blue lizards there.
The coral reef and the beach take us under the water, where while walking through a glass tunnel, we feel as if we are walking on coral reefs admiring a large number of colorful fish, we are looking for Nemo, seahorses or starfish.
The deep ocean in the Poema del Mar aquarium consists of sharks, octopuses, sea turtles and glass tunnels through which we can admire this beautiful underwater world.
